From 22nd July 2010 guests staying at The Walkmill will be able to buy a stunning range of greeting cards, hand finished and individually signed by local Artist and Illustrator ‘Bird’ Diane Williams.
‘Bird’ has a wide range of work with a strong emphasis on colour, painting mainly fauna, flora and domestic animals in a distinctive style, which are only available in a handful of premier outlets including John Lewis and Fortnum and Masons.
Gilly Bachelor, Owner of The Walkmill said ‘I absolutely love Birds’ work which includes wonderfully colourful illustrations which remind me of my life in Shropshire. I am delighted that guests will be introduced to her fabulous work, and that I have the opportunity to support local businesses’
A selection of cards will be available in the cottages priced at 2.50p each.
