We visited Shropshire for the first time in March 2009 and liked it so much we wanted to come back. On this occasion we chose Walkmill House for our stay and couldn’t have hoped for more comfortable accommodation and facilities! Suffice to say it as been an absolutely fantastic base from which to further explore and enjoy what is understandably a beautiful and relatively unspoilt county. Congratulations on the recent ‘Highly Commended’ Award and very best wishes for the future. Many thanks again.

A lovely and charming cottage, set in an ideal spot. We couldn’t have wished for anything more. Ludlow worth a visit, an excellent view looking down onto the Castle from Whitcliffe Common (make sure you have your camera). Cardingmill Valley, The Long Mynd - fantastic scenery even on a dull, misty day. Our two dogs Millie and Megan have enjoyed their week’s holiday too, walked their little legs off!
