We are delighted to announce that we have won a ‘Highly Commended Award’ for Self Catering Holiday of the Year, in the 2010 Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards.

At a glittering award ceremony held at the Great Hall, University of Birmingham, Bob Warman from Central TV News presented us with our award.  In the photograph (from left to right) Philip Bachelor, Brian Bachelor, Gilly Bachelor, Bob Warman, Jessica Bachelor, Stuart Bachelor and Paul Bachelor. 

On receiving the award Gilly Bachelor said “this is a real family venture.  The ‘Bachelors’ work very hard to ensure guests have a wonderful holiday in Shropshire - we are all delighted that our efforts have been rewarded! We absolutely love living in Shropshire, and were keen to showcase all that this area has to offer.
